Cancellation Policy

Travel Monkey Cancellation & Trip Postponement Policy

1. No Refund Policy

All bookings confirmed with Travel Monkey are strictly non-refundable. Once a booking is confirmed and payment is received, no refund shall be provided under any circumstances.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Personal cancellations
  • Medical emergencies
  • Family commitments
  • Change of travel plans
  • Visa rejection
  • Transportation delays or cancellations
  • No-show cases
  • Early departure from the tour

2. Trip Postponement Option

Although cancellations are non-refundable, guests may request to postpone their trip to a future date.

Travel Monkey will make every effort to accommodate the revised travel dates, subject to:

  • Hotel availability
  • Vehicle availability
  • Sightseeing availability
  • Seasonal pricing and operational feasibility

3. Validity of Postponed Booking

Guests must complete their postponed trip within:

180 Days (6 Months)

from the original travel date.

Example:

  • Original Travel Date: 10 October 2026
  • Last Eligible Travel Date: 09 April 2027

Bookings not utilized within the validity period will automatically lapse and no refund or credit shall be issued.

4. Date Change Requests

To reschedule a trip, guests must notify Travel Monkey at least:

15 Days Prior to Departure

Requests received within 15 days of departure will be subject to supplier approval and may attract additional charges.

5. Price Difference & Additional Charges

If the revised travel dates fall during a higher-priced season, guests shall bear the difference in cost.

Additional charges may apply for:

  • Peak season travel
  • Festival periods
  • Long weekends
  • Christmas & New Year holidays
  • School vacation periods
  • Hotel tariff revisions
  • Transportation cost increases

Any additional amount must be paid before the revised travel date is confirmed.

6. Unused Services

No refund, credit, or adjustment will be provided for:

  • Unused hotel stays
  • Missed sightseeing
  • Missed meals
  • Unused transportation
  • Early departure from the tour
  • Late arrivals

7. Force Majeure

Travel Monkey shall not be held responsible for disruptions caused by circumstances beyond its control, including:

  • Natural disasters
  • Floods
  • Landslides
  • Political unrest
  • Government restrictions
  • Pandemics
  • Transportation strikes

In such cases, Travel Monkey may assist with rescheduling wherever possible, subject to supplier policies.

8. Acceptance of Policy

By confirming a booking and making payment, the guest acknowledges and agrees that:

All bookings are non-refundable.

Travel dates may be changed subject to availability.

The revised trip must be completed within 6 months (180 days) of the original travel date.

Any additional costs arising from the date change must be borne by the guest.

Travel Monkey Tours & Travels reserves the right to make the final decision regarding operational feasibility and rescheduling requests.
